Are you a hunter with commercial maritime sales experience and a proven track record?

Maritime Optima is scaling up, and we are looking for a talented and self-driven sales professional with the capability to convey and identify Maritime Optima solutions to the variety of clients by analysing their business and maximize results and strengthen our market presence in Greece, Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa. The position will be based in Athens, Greece.

We are looking for a hunter with commercial maritime experience and a proven track record from B2B maritime sales and/or from shipbroking.

Built on a foundation of high-quality data, industry knowledge, machine learning and AI technologies, our solutions enable smarter and faster decision-making with ease.

Our product strategy is built around user‑driven insights. We frequently launch new features and refine our offerings based on direct customer feedback.

What we offer

The ShipIntel concept offers customers the benefits from processed AIS data,AI‑powered email parsing, bunker planning, and carbon emissions estimation. All combined into one unified, cost‑effective solution with structured for AI solutions.

ShipIntel Essentials: For any type of company involved in maritime business. Essentials enable companies to plug in enriched AIS data, sea route estimations, and AI models—into their own proprietary data. For better, data-driven maritime decisions and efficient team collaboration. ShipIntel Essentials was launched in 2024.

ShipIntel Pre-fix: for shipbrokers, charterers, operators and shipowners. Semi-automized workflows, quick voyage calculations and easy to match and compare TCE for portfolios of cargoes and vessels. ShipIntel Pre-fix was launched in 2025.

ShipAtlas a B2C SaaS product with more than 450 000 registered users and offer a ship-tracking services. ShipAtlas is growing very quickly with more than 300 registered free users every day. ShipAtlas was launched in 2021.

We are 18 employees in Oslo, Athens and Singapore, where most of us are working in our Oslo office in Vika Atrium, and we are recruiting in Athens, Singapore and Oslo.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a talented and self-driven sales professional with the capability to convey and identify Maritime Optima solutions to the variety of clients by analysing their business and maximize results and strengthen our market presence in Greece, Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa.

We are looking for a hunter with commercial maritime experience and proven track record from B2B maritime sales and/or from shipbroking.

Your responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with new and
  • Drive sales of our ShipIntel SaaS solutions to the maritime industry existing customers
  • Help develop and execute strategies and sales plans

Wanted qualifications

  • Hunter mentality: Skilled at identifying and pursuing new business in the maritime sector
  • Maritime industry expertise: At least 3 years’ experience in maritime-related SaaS sales and/or shipbroking, ideally in the Greek market.
  • Strong network: Established relationships within Greek shipping, ship management, or chartering. Experience from working with chartering and/or in shipbroking is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of results achieved both individually but also for the team and company. 
  • Strategic communicator: Capable of analyzing client needs and positioning tailored solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Greek.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and hitting targets in a fast-paced, startup-like environment as well as being strategic and a part of a team.
  • “CRM skills” to effectively build and manage pipelines and client portfolios.
