I'm 30 years old, and I am presently living in Hamar together with my girlfriend. Besides my current BSc program, I have an apprenticeship certificate as an automation technician from the offshore oil and gas industry. I worked in that industry for about ten years before I decided I wanted to do something different. I am a born and bred Norwegian, but I originally lived further north, in Nordland county. I moved south to Hamar in 2011.
My passion – or the first one that comes to mind – is education, and as such, making the next generation better equipped to make the world a better place. But I'm also passionate about technology and programming in general. I've been a dabbling programmer since I was a teenager, and it is also a hobby. Also, I enjoy high-end teas, Chinese martial arts, overly complicated board games, reading, and Netflix.
