Arne Bartnes graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School in 2011, and later pursued an Executive Master of Management specializing in Business Analytics, Business Development & Innovation, and Project Management (to be completed H1 2025). His career has spanned various industries and roles, from finance and procurement to strategy and investment management.

Arne's experience includes roles at Viking Cruises and SeaDream Yacht Club, where he led procurement and operational improvements. Most recently, he served as Strategy & Portfolio Manager at Wilhelmsen Port Services, managing investments and strategy in the APAC region.

Now, he is bringing his industry expertise to Maritime Optima, where he will serve as the General Manager, Far East, tasked with setting up a regional sales and marketing office.Originally from Norway, Arne is based in Singapore. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time with friends. He has a passion for travel, technology, and staying up-to-date on global markets.
